Coding Experiments / Motion Graphics
On the most basic level, graphic design is about creating meaning from shapes. Creating a functional design often entails working with these shapes to establish a good relationship between the content you’re trying to design, and the form you are trying to present it in.
The designer experimented with using basic shapes to communicate words and engage interactivity with users.
The first word was shout, the shape responses to the sound detected by the microphone and change its speed and angle of movement accordingly.
The second word was drop, when user drags the mouse, shapes drop down and change colour within a certain blue range, modelling the situation of rain dropping down.
The third word was arrangement, when user place shapes at random position on the screen, the shapes will be arranged in in a line by hitting ENTER key.
